A 14-Year Hollywood Marriage Ends

Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane are asking for "privacy during this time." The two have decided to end their 14-year marriage, with People reporting Gayheart filed for divorce from her 45-year-old husband, listing irreconcilable differences as the cause but giving the date of separation as "TBD." She's looking for spousal support and to share custody of Billie, 7, and Georgia, 6. The magazine has a statement from Dane, best known as McSteamy of Grey's Anatomy, that reads in part, "We will continue our friendship and work as a team to co-parent our two beautiful girls as they are the most important thing in the world to us."

People documents some of the downs the couple has experienced since their 2004 marriage, including a sex video leaked in 2009 and Dane's experience with rehab over a painkiller addiction brought on in the wake of a sports injury.
