There's apparently a lot of crossover between Lorde fans and Whitney Houston fans: The 21-year-old singer's followers were outraged Thursday when she posted on Instagram a picture of her waiting bath captioned with the Whitney lyric "And iiii will always love you," USA Today reports. They accused her of making light of the death of Houston, who accidentally drowned in a bathtub in 2012 after taking cocaine—and whose daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, died after being found in a bathtub in 2015. Lorde apologized and deleted the post within an hour, the New York Daily News reports. "Extremely extremely poorly chosen quote," she said on Instagram. "I'm so sorry for offending anyone—I hadn't even put this together I was just excited to take a bath. I'm an idiot. Love Whitney forever and ever. Sorry again." (More Lorde stories.)
