If you count yourself among those who think the lottery is a tax on odds truthers and the intellectually challenged, allow us to present the case of Antulio Mazariegos of California. As KTLA reports, Mazariegos defied the odds and won a $1 million scratcher last November. Apparently not content to simply go on a shopping spree with his winnings, he went on a most unlikely winning spree instead. The California Lottery announced Friday that Mazariegos recently walked into one of its offices with not one, but three other winning tickets—worth a modest $600 and $1,000, along with a scratcher worth a whopping $5 million, reports WNEP. Mazariegos says he just likes to play. (More lottery winner stories.)
