David Schwimmer is not accused of stealing a phone, wallet, and jacket from an English restaurant on Sept. 20, but that is the case for someone who looks an awful lot like him. Blackpool Police are on the lookout for a thief, spotted on CCTV footage with a case of beer, who Facebook users were quick to point out bears a resemblance to Schwimmer's Friends character, Ross Geller, per the Independent. It's "confirmed that David Schwimmer was in America on this date," police responded after a photo of the suspect went viral.
Still, the Friends references continue on the Facebook post, now shared more than 70,000 times. "I don't think it's been this guy's day, his week, his month or even his year," one user quips, per Sky News. "Please approach with caution. He is known to have studied Karate and we believe he has mastered the art of Unagi, the state of total awareness," Dumfries Galloway Police Division adds, per the Independent, which also found this possible explanation: "It's not Ross.....
