The world's richest female musician has a net worth of $600 million—and it's mainly not from her music. Forbes has bestowed the honor upon Rihanna, noting that the bulk of her fortune (about $570 million of it) comes from the Fenty Beauty cosmetics line she co-owns with LVMH. The Guardian notes that the luxury goods house also recently announced it would be launching a fashion line with the 31-year-old superstar, making her the first woman of color to lead one of its fashion houses.
"I want to be as disruptive as possible," she told the New York Times last month. "The brand is not traditional." She was also asked by the paper if there was a monetary amount she'd be so satisfied with that she'd take a break from all her ventures. "I never thought I'd make this much money, so a number is not going to stop me from working," she replied. "The money means that I can take care of my family. The money means that I can facilitate the businesses that I want to. I can create jobs for other people. My money is not for me; it's always the thought that I can help someone else or, in the future, for if I have kids." (More Rihanna stories.)
