The widow of Linkin Park's Chester Bennington has found new love two years after his suicide, and in making the announcement emphasized that "Your heart expands with love. It doesn’t shrink or push out those that have already taken root. I will always love my husband, Chester." Talinda Bennington identified her fiance only as her "angel on earth, Michael F.," but said that her "family, friends, and my Linkin Park brothers welcome him to the family with open arms." "To all Suicide Loss Survivors, you CAN be happy again. You CAN have space in your heart for grief, joy, sadness, happiness, and love."

The New York Daily News notes that Talinda Bennington, 42, launched a program to help the loved ones of those who face addiction and mental illness. The Benningtons have three children, a 13-year-old son and twin 8-year-old girls. (Chester Bennington died in July 2017 after years of struggles with alcohol and depression; his suicide came only months after that of his friend Chris Cornell.)
