A convicted felon in three different Florida counties eluded law enforcement for most of November, but authorities tracked her down this week hiding in her own home. WFLA reports that the Citrus County Sheriff's Office had been searching for 39-year-old Stacy Usher, who, according to its Nov. 8 Facebook post, "has a history of fraud, grand theft, and obtaining property by a worthless check."
The post also noted that Usher "is registered as a convicted felon in Citrus, Manatee, and Pasco" counties, and that she was wanted currently for a parole violation "for the sale of fentanyl and unlawful use of a two-way communication device." It's not clear what that alleged parole violation entailed, but what is clear is that "hide-and-seek may not have been Usher's forte," per FOX 13, which reports that deputies searching her residence found her hiding inside a couch there—meaning she's now back in custody.
