With the presidential candidates in a tight battle after a closely matched debate, the upcoming vice presidential showdown is bound to be “must-see TV,” said one GOP strategist. Both Sarah Palin and Joe Biden are busy preparing for this week's St. Louis spar, in which Biden will need to refrain from appearing too aloof or aggressive and Palin must cope with her significant lack of experience, reports the Washington Times.

Biden, who joined the Senate when Palin was 8 years old, has said he’s “not going to do that condescending stuff John did” in the presidential debate. Meanwhile, Palin’s people are getting a jump on damage control, conceding that Biden has far more experience. “The campaign should let Palin be Palin,” said a GOP strategist. "Biden needs to not lecture or talk down to Palin."
