Costume shops are scrambling to stock enough masks of Sarah Palin, who looks to be a popular choice this Halloween, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Trick-or-treaters who want to transform into either of the presidential candidates—or most of their early competitors—are in luck, but heavy demand for Palin's likeness makes impersonating her a challenge.
One costume company displays a clay mold for its in-progress mask to assure web surfers it'll be available soon. Other retailers have thrown in the towel—one CEO simply recommends "a hockey jersey and some lipstick and your hair up in a bun."
