A seriously ill Michael Jackson may soon need a lung transplant because he's suffering from a rare genetic condition that could kill him, according to a biographer. Jacko’s camp has refused to respond to reports of his failing health, but brother Jermaine said: “He's not doing so well right now," reports the New York Daily News.

Jacko, who is also suffering from gastrointestinal bleeding, “can barely speak" and the vision in his left eye is "95% gone," according to best-selling writer Ian Halperin, who has penned bios of Kurt Cobain and Britney Spears. The singer, who has been spotted recently visiting medical facilities and was photographed earlier this year in a wheelchair, claimed he was too ill to fly to London for a court appearance last month.
