The FBI is looking into the disappearance of a Florida woman who was reported missing from a cruise ship in the Gulf of Mexico on Friday, Fox News reports. Jennifer Seitz’s husband reported her missing, and the Coast Guard says surveillance video shows a woman going overboard. Meanwhile, a joint US-Mexican search and rescue effort continued, with little hope. “Time is not on our side,” a Coast Guard rep said.

The FBI interviewed the husband and collected physical evidence yesterday when the ship made port in Miami. “We're looking to see if a crime was committed on the high seas,” one agent said. Seitz was lost off the coast of Mexico near Cancun in the middle of a 7-day cruise. Rescue crews using boats and aircraft to search have covered 2,500 square miles. (More FBI stories.)
