A sleeping infant was killed by his grandmother’s two dogs yesterday, the Times of London reports. “The grandmother was screaming, ‘The baby is dead!’” said one neighbor, who witnessed a "severe injury" to the baby's neck. Another speculated the dogs were jealous of the 3-month-old, who’s the fourth child to be killed by dogs in the past 30 months. The death has sparked new calls to tighten restrictions on dogs.
