The Iranian-American journalist being held at a notorious Tehran jail met with her lawyer yesterday, offering her parents in North Dakota the first proof that she is alive. Roxana Saberi has lived in Iran for six years but was arrested a month ago; officials say she's being held for working illegally after her press pass was revoked. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called for her release this weekend amid reports that the regime may free her soon.
