Biden Pokes Fun at the Boss at DC Dinner

Joe Biden put his foot in his mouth again, Politico reports—but this time he meant to. President Obama skipped last night’s annual Gridiron Club white-tie gathering of Washington elite, and the VP got in some laughs at his expense, explaining Obama was busy preparing for Easter. “He thinks it’s about him,” Biden said. Chimed in Arnold Schwarzenegger: “He’s just not that into you.”

Obama is the first president in decades to miss his first Gridiron Club dinner, opting instead to spend the weekend at Camp David, AP says. Other highlights of the evening included Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm accusing Sarah Palin of setting back the cause of “hot governors” and a Nancy Pelosi impersonator rearranging Madonna’s hit song into “Imperial Girl.”
