Dolla Shooting Suspect Held on $1M Bail

Los Angeles police have charged 23-year-old Aubrey Louis Berry with the murder of Roderick Anthony Burton II, better known as up-and-coming rapper Dolla, E! reports. Berry is being held on $1 million bail. Police have questioned two other persons of interest as well, a man and a woman, but neither has been charged.

Dolla was shot after an altercation with a man and a woman yesterday at an LA mall. The man shot the rapper and both fled. Police say Berry matches the man’s description. Dolla was with fellow rapper DJ Shabbazz and Scrapp DeLeon, a fellow artist on the Jive label, at the time of the shooting. (More Dolla stories.)
