Police have arrested a suspect in the high-profile beating death of a man formerly engaged to one of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. AJ Jewell died of massive head injury last night after a fight outside a strip club he partly owned. He appeared on several episodes of the reality show while engaged to Kandi Burruss. Police charged a club employee with voluntary manslaughter today, but still don't know details, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Burruss, who broke up with Jewell in August but still cares for two of his six children, requested privacy. In a Twitter post, she wrote: “im just in one of those moods where i dont wanna talk, i dont wanna b held & told its gonna b ok. i just wanna cry myself 2 sleep, alone.” Burruss was a member of the now-defunct R&B group Xscape.
