Prop-Wielding Senators: Beware Jon Stewart

Republicans who rallied against the health care bill used everything from a picture of a Nazi concentration camp to a baby to make their point, and none of it got by Jon Stewart. When Michele Bachmann used a lei brought to her by Hawaiian constituents as a prop, saying, “the one who created this lei also created our freedom,” Stewart paused for a really long time before offering this gem: “Our freedom was created by some lady at the Honolulu International Airport?” There's another long pause at 4:26 when baby Maddy shows up.
