Orly Taitz Helper Has Scotland Yard Training

Orly Taitz isn’t the only influential foreign-born “birther” trying to prove that Barack Obama is himself foreign-born. Meet Neil Sankey, a former British detective and naturalized American citizen who is using his Scotland Yard skills to look for dirt on the president's origins. Taitz, for one, says he's been a huge help to the movement. "He has had superb training," she tells the Guardian. "I have the greatest respect for Scotland Yard."

Last year, Sankey contacted all 538 electoral college representatives after the election in a failed bid to get them to reconsider. He claims to have found a suspicious number of Social Security numbers linked to "Barack Obama," though admits there's no proven link to the president. "The objection is not Obama's color but his politics," says Sankey. "I like him as a person, I just wish he was genuine." (More Neil Sankey stories.)
