MTV's 'Jersey Shore' reality show making fun of young Italian Americans is making waves in the town where it was shot last summer

After just one season, the guidos and guidettes of Jersey Shore have gotten too big for their britches—and they could find themselves kicked off the hit MTV show. Unless salary negotiations wrap today, sources tell TMZ the network will replace any cast members who don’t accept the deal they're being offered, which MTV upped from $5,000 per episode to $10,000 for the 12-episode run. But the cast still hasn’t said yes, with The Situation and Pauly D being the reported holdouts.

The cast members missed out on another opportunity to be in the limelight—they recently turned down cameos in an independent film starring Sopranos alums and Ice-T because they were “too busy,” a source tells the New York Post.
