Golden Girls star to be in TV Land show

Betty White is joining the cast of Hot in Cleveland, a sitcom coming to TV Land. The 88-year-old Golden Girls star has surged back to popularity (she'll host SNL in May) after appearing in a Snickers Super Bowl commercial and gaining a Facebook fan club. Hot in Cleveland, TV Land's first scripted show, is about three strangers who decide to live in the city after their flight makes an emergency landing there, notes People.
