Rod Blagojevich is having a bit of trouble holding down a job these days. The former Illinois governor was fired last night on Celebrity Apprentice after turning in his latest "display of cluelessness, evasion, and arrogance," writes Maureen Ryan in the Chicago Tribune. The gov over-delegated, was unable to text or email, wasn't quite familiar with Harry Potter, the subject of his project, and—wait for it—chose now to censor his communications.
Blago "was done in by his addiction to political doublespeak and his inability to admit mistakes," Ryan writes. "If his appearance on this show was meant to buff up his image in the public eye, it's hard to see how showing America his most slippery qualities did him any good." (More Rod Blagojevich stories.)
