(AP Photo/Mary Altaffer) You probably feel like you’ve already read Kitty Kelley’s Oprah Winfrey opus (she might be gay! She refers to herself in the third person!), but the Daily Beast found more juiciness: Sexual abuse: Oprah’s cousin claims she lied about being abused. Oprah “was a wild child running the streets of Milwaukee in those days, and not accepting discipline from her mother,” but her abuse story helped “make her what she is today.” Poor childhood: “Oprah wasn’t raised on a pig farm,” says her cousin. Au contraire, “she was spoiled better than any little girl in these parts.” Winfrey apparently told her cousin the stories are “what people want to hear.” Prostitution: Winfrey’s half-sister recalls a teen Oprah trading sexual favors for money: “Whenever a guy arrived at our door, Oprah would give Popsicles to me and our brother and say, ‘You two go out on the porch and play now.’” Body image: She touts positive body image, but in 1987 Winfrey told People, “Black women, 300 to 400 pounds, waddle up to me, and say, ‘You know people are always confusin’ me for you.’” For the complete list, click here.
