Jealous Dad Kills Baby Who Preferred Mom: Cops

A Queens dad is charged with beating his infant son to death because the child "preferred his mother." Larry Green reportedly yelled "Toughen up" as he punched his 7-month-old, Xiah, in the chest. Xiah died soon after. "We're grieving right now," the child's grandfather tells the Daily News.

Greene initially told Xiah's mother that the baby "fell," but later confessed to police. He now faces up to 25 years in jail on charges of second-degree manslaughter. Xiah was found with bruises to his scalp, neck, and chest. "There is no excuse for these senseless attacks," a local prosecutor says.
