Biologists are panicking over the oil spill spreading across the Gulf of Mexico, which couldn't possibly have come at a worse time. It's peak spawning and nesting season in the wetlands, estuaries, and national fisheries of Louisiana, and there's never been an oil spill this close to those fragile areas, writes Julia Kumari Drapkin at GlobalPost.
