For the first time in the history of the Philadelphia Phillies, and possibly Major League Baseball, a fan who ran onto the field was Tasered instead of wrestled to the ground. The teenage fan eluded police and security staff to run several loops in center field before an officer zapped him, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Police are investigating whether it was an appropriate use of force. The fan, 17, has been charged with criminal trespass.
