John Grisham may conquer the small screen yet. E1 Entertainment is shopping around a pilot script for a series based on Grisham's book and movie blockbuster The Firm, reports Deadline Hollywood. Grisham didn't write the script but is said to be heavily involved as an executive producer. So far, E1 has pitched it to NBC, Fox, FX, TNT, and A&E, and at least one cable network is interested.

Grisham's had plenty of movie adaptations of his work, but he's been less lucky on TV, with only a one-season run of The Client to his name, writes Nellie Andreeva. CBS had The Firm in development a few years ago, but never produced a pilot. The new script, pegged more for cable, is from the same screenwriter. (More John Grisham stories.)
