The girls of a suburban Chicago high school basketball team should "go rogue" to get around their school's boycott of Arizona, Sarah Palin urges. "Keeping the girls basketball team off the court for political reasons? Them are fighting words," she told a crowd of 4,000 at an Illinois "Evening with Sarah Palin" event, CBS reports.
"An economic and political boycott of one of our sister states is not a way to secure our borders," she fumed. Palin urged people to help the team get to their conference championship in Arizona. A school district superintendent says the trip was canceled because sending a team to the state, in light of its strict new immigration law, "would not be aligned with our beliefs and values."
