A gang of would-be muggers picked the worst dark alley in Sydney to attack their victim—right outside the gates of a ninja school. A student at the Japanese martial arts school saw the attack and raised the alarm. The attackers hotfooted it as five black-clad ninjas ran out, the Times of London reports. Police arrested two muggers and are seeking the third.

"We started running at them, yelling and everything. These guys have turned around and seen five ninjas in black ninja uniforms running towards them. They just bolted," ninja trainer Kaylan Soto said. "You should have seen their faces when they saw us in ninja gear coming towards them. I've never seen guys running that fast." The victim, who suffered minor injuries, could have escaped the attack if he'd had a few ninjitsu lessons, he added.
