Bristol Palin, like, totally teenspeaks her way through an interview with Elisa Lipsky-Karasz—who notes in Harper’s Bazaar that the teen mom also engages in “constant texting.” Highlights:
- Telling her mom she was pregnant: “I was bawling my eyes out. She was like, 'What's wrong?' And I was like, 'I'm pregnant.' And she was like, ‘Oh my God. Holy crap.’”
- Revealing her pregnancy to the world: “Great, I'm 17 years old, I'm 40 pounds overweight with a big belly on me, all my friends are at school watching this on the news. This kind of sucks.”
- Her life now: “I don't ever have time for friends or anything like that. It's just like, Right, crap, there is a hockey game tonight that I want to go to but I can't.”
- How she deals with Levi: “I just ignore it. He is a stranger to me. It's just dirty laundry.” She’s not dating, but “one day I'll find a nice guy.”
- Why her abstinence work isn’t hypocritical: “Like, if you get lung cancer from smoking, why wouldn't you want to tell people, 'Hey, look, don't smoke.'”
