Something to think about the next time you don’t feel like cleaning out the garage: A missing Las Vegas woman was found after four months…dead in her own home, buried underneath piles of junk. Bill James alerted authorities when his wife Billie Jean, 67, went missing, but even search dogs could find no sign of her. He finally spotted her feet underneath a pile of clutter Wednesday, the AP reports. The time and cause of death could take weeks to determine.

The James’ home is full of knickknacks and trash, and officials described a strong odor from animals, garbage, food, and clothes. Friends described Billie Jean as peace activist who loved camping…and purchasing things at thift stores every day. Says one, “She became this hoarder person and she wouldn't let anyone come in her house.”
