Saturday Night Live's newest cast member might have referred to an Asian-American presidential candidate as a "Jew ch---," but Andrew Yang is giving peace a chance, reports People. After Shane Gillis tweeted that "My intention is never to hurt anyone," but sometimes comedy "requires risks," Yang responded that "I prefer comedy that makes people think and doesn’t take cheap shots. But I’m happy to sit down and talk with you if you’d like.” He also defended Gillis, who has been criticized for racist and homophobic statements in his comedy, saying that "I do not think he should lose his job. We would benefit from being more forgiving rather than punitive. We are all human." (More Shane Gillis stories.)
